Flood and Coast Engineering staff use state of the art numerical models to simulate riverine and urban flooding, coastal processes, and stormwater, estuarine and aquatic environments. In addition to having the tools to simulate complex physical processes, FCE staff have the expert knowledge and ability to collect in-situ data including currents, tide, wind, wave, water and sediment samples, and other water quality parameters necessary to support numerical model development, permitting, or other needs.
