Flood and Coast Engineering (FCE), LOMR & CLOMR engineering consultant, can assist homeowners, developers and other engineering consultants navigate FEMA's time-consuming application process for a Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR) or a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) on your or a client's property to assess a proposed development within a floodplain or change existing flood insurance rate maps (FIRM.) With over 10 years of experience filing & processing CLOMR & LOMR applications for clients throughout the southeast region of the United States, Flood and Coast Engineering has the necessary professional engineering expertise to develop both riverine and coastal numerical models to simulate the 100-year (1% annual chance) and 500-year (0.2% annual chance) floodplain to determine the limits of special flood hazard areas on your or you client's property. We work with homeowners, developers, civil engineering firms, consultants, and private property developers to analyze existing property or proposed developments to determine it's upstream and downstream impacts on the floodplain, or if we can remove it from existing special flood hazard areas altogether (Zone X.) We also provide professional services that include determining base flood elevations (BFE) if none are currently assigned (Zone A) or to change existing BFE's due to erroneous flood maps or due to changes in land use.
If you are in need of a CLOMR and or LOMR from FEMA, feel free to reach out to FCE staff by using the contact form at the link below and someone will be happy to reach out and discuss your project with you.
